Our PMVA training Physical Intervention and Breakaway training course is an approved and accredited GSA Physical Intervention model of Conflict Management and are in line with the NICE guidelines (NG25); Department of Health (Positive and Proactive Care Policy Guidance 2014) and Royal College of Nursing (RCN) 2014 Guidance – Minimising Physical Interventions. We are proud to be a member of the Restraint Reduction Network and as such abide by the pledge to reduce reliance on restrictive practices.

PMVA Training Course

Our PMVA training course has been individually assessed, validated and accredited by the CPD Accreditation Group as meeting current training standards. Thus, they have been designed to meet requirements in the Health and Social Care as well as Education and Private Sector.

Our techniques are not based on ‘size and or strength’ but ‘adaptation and or skill’ to achieve a safer and therapeutic service, therefore we employ a ‘pain-free methodology’ in our training workshops.

Unlike other courses, we teach candidates in PSTS (Promoting Safer and Therapeutic Service). Our conflict management modules equip participants with the best conflict management skills needed to manage conflict without the use of restrictive practices. We can assess your organisation’s needs and requirements and design a  bespoke course for you. As a CPD accredited course, it meets the needs of your continuous professional development.
